Medical University of Bialystok is a prestigious, rapidly growing university, outstanding among the Polish academic centres. MUB cooperates with many foreign universities and research centres. An important element of the University's activity is cooperation with entrepreneurs. The university has cutting edge infrastructure for conducting research and service activities and professional staff of experts in medical and pharmaceutical sciences as well as biology and chemistry. All MUB faculties are the leaders (minimum A) of MNiSW (Ministry of Science and Higher Education) ratings. MUB also has specialized research centres which offer: breeding services and experimental research on laboratory animals, clinical trials involving people, large scale “omics” technologies, molecular imaging as well as support in bioinformatic and statistical analysis.
